ZS-YTPP2W Precautions for Setting Filling Volume

  1. Theoretical Calculation Is for Reference Only
The filling volume can be initially estimated based on the rated flow rate of the pump. For example, if the pump capacity is 4 L/min (4000 ml/min), the theoretical flow rate is approximately 66.67 ml/s. Filling 500 ml would therefore require about 7.5 seconds under ideal conditions. However, this value is only a reference and should not be used as the final setting.

  2. Actual Operating Conditions Must Be Considered
The actual filling volume and filling time are affected by multiple factors, including but not limited to:

  • Viscosity of the product (e.g. water, alcohol, essence liquid, syrup)
  • Flowability and foaming characteristics of the liquid
  • Hose length, inner diameter, and valve structure
  • Actual pump efficiency and operating stability
  1. Field Testing and Fine Adjustment Are Required
After the initial theoretical setting, repeated filling tests must be carried out. The filling time or control parameters should be fine-tuned based on actual filling results until the required accuracy is achieved. It is recommended to use stabilized average values as the final setting.

  2. Pump Capacity Should Match the Filling Volume
Although a 4 L pump can theoretically fill up to 4000 ml, filling large volumes will require longer filling time, which directly affects production efficiency. Therefore:

    • Small-volume filling (e.g. ≤ 500 ml): a 4 L pump is generally suitable
    • Large-volume filling (e.g. ≥ 1000 ml): a higher-capacity pump is recommended to reduce filling time and improve productivity
  3. Balance Between Efficiency and Accuracy
Pump selection should not be based solely on whether the required volume can be filled. Production efficiency, cycle time, and long-term operational stability should be considered together to ensure optimal performance.
